Day 4: Doorframe Chest Stretches 🚪💪

The Habit: Every time you walk through a doorway, pause and do a chest stretch.

Stand in the doorframe, place your forearms on either side of the frame, and gently lean forward until you feel a stretch across your chest and shoulders. Hold for 10 seconds, breathe deeply, then carry on with your day.

You walk through doorways dozens of times a day. If you do this even just a few of those times, you’ll notice a real difference in how open your chest and shoulders feel ✨

Why it works: We spend so much time with our shoulders rounded forward – driving 🚗, cooking 🍳, using our phones 📱, wrapping presents 🎁. This stretch counteracts all of that forward hunching. It opens up your chest, improves your posture, and helps you breathe more deeply. Plus, it takes literally 10 seconds and happens in the natural flow of your day.

Your action step today: Pick one doorway in your house – maybe the kitchen entrance or your bedroom door 🚪. Every time you walk through that specific doorway today, pause and stretch. Just that one doorway. Once you’ve got that habit down, you can add more.
