My fitness journey began in my late 20s when I became determined to regain my pre-pregnancy shape after giving birth to my son. The turning point came when, working in a hairdressing salon in the USA, I found myself on the verge of tears because I was going to miss my aerobic class while tending to a task.
Another pivotal moment occurred at Gold’s Gym in SC, USA. The regular instructor was sick, and I, being a daily gym-goer, was asked to step in. In return, they offered me a free month’s membership. I agreed, taught the class, and the positive feedback from participants ignited my passion for teaching fitness.
From that moment on, I realised that fitness instruction was my calling. I fell in love with teaching and decided to pursue it wholeheartedly.
The rest, as they say, is history.
With three decades of experience in the health and fitness industry across England, South Carolina, USA, Saudi Arabia, and the Netherlands, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my expertise internationally. I firmly believe in the potential for everyone to achieve fitness and health, regardless of age or current fitness level.
My focus is on empowering women aged 50 and above to unlock their potential and equipping them with the tools and motivation needed for lasting changes. Currently, I am actively engaged with the Preston Community Area, working with clients face-to-face in Pilates, Flex, and mobility sessions.
